Sollum Technologies to showcase advanced dynamic LED lighting at Indoor Ag-Con 2026

Thought leadership, smart integration, and next-generation talent anchor Sollum's presence in Las Vegas.

Montréal, Québec,Canada— January 27, 2026 — Sollum Technologies, a leader in advanced dynamic LED lighting for commercial greenhouses and controlled environment agriculture (CEA), announces its participation in Indoor Ag-Con 2026, taking place February 11–12, 2026, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Indoor Ag-Con is the industry’s largest event dedicated to vertical farming, greenhouse production, and indoor agriculture. The event brings together growers, technology providers, researchers, and investors from the global CEA value chain, focusing on both early-stage innovation and the sustainable scaling of indoor and vertical farms.

Sollum’s presence underscores its commitment to helping growers move beyond static lighting. Sollum enables lighting strategies that meet plant needs by providing real-time control of the spectrum, intensity, and daily light integral (DLI). The solution also integrates seamlessly with modern greenhouse and indoor farm operations.

Panel participation: Smart integration in CEA

On February 11, from 2:00 to 2:45p.m. PSTAbhay Thosar, Chief Horticulture Specialist at Sollum Technologies, will participate in the panel “Connected Growth: Navigating Smart Integration in CEA.”

Moderated by Nick Chaney, Corporate Grower at Bright Farms, the panel also features Schuyler Milton, Founder of KAPPA AgTech, and Loren West, CTO and Founder of Microclimates Inc.

As CEA operations increasingly rely on interconnected systems, the discussion will explore how growers and providers can successfully integrate lighting, climate, and data technologies. Topics include evaluating platform compatibility, leveraging APIs, standardizing data flows, avoiding common integration pitfalls, and future-proofing technology stacks so integration becomes a driver of efficiency rather than complexity.

Sollum’s participation reflects its integration-first approach, in which lighting is treated as a connected lever within a broader production and energy strategy rather than a standalone input.

Sollum Scholarships: Investing in the future of indoor agriculture

Sollum is also proud to once again partner with Indoor Ag-Con on the 2026 Sollum Student Scholarship, supporting a PhD-level student in the U.S. or Canada pursuing research in a CEA-related field. The scholarship is designed to foster meaningful connections between academic research and commercial production, providing recipients with both financial support and industry exposure.

The 2026 scholarship recipient is Karli Barton, a second-year Master of Environmental Science student at the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada. Her research explores the intersection of advanced LED lighting strategies and sustainable pest management in controlled-environment strawberry production. A key component of her work examines how dynamic lighting regimes such as blue-light night interruption and continuous lighting, influence the performance of biological control agents used to manage aphid populations.
