Many innovative companies, including Sollum Technologies, have Centech to thank for their support as a leading tech incubator in Montréal. Now, Sollum’s own CEO, Louis Brun, who has successfully launched multiple companies over the years, is hoping to return the favour to promising startups thanks to his nomination to the Centech Board of Directors.
"Centech has a proven method of helping deeptech companies reach their greatest potential”, said Brun, “I am proud to be able to lend my own expertise to this incubator so that budding entrepreneurs can find success like we have at Sollum™.”
Centech, recently named “one of the most successful university incubators in the world” by UBI Global, offers a number of services for startups including their innovation hub called the Collision Lab, expert coaching, workspaces, and access to pristine laboratories and equipment. They have two program streams, Acceleration and Propulsion, the former which provides startups with support over 12 weeks and the latter which identifies the strongest businesses in the initial program and fosters the mover a multi-year period.
“Louis and the rest of his team at Sollum Technologies exemplify the kind of innovation and business acumen that we look for and encourage in startups” said Richard Chénier, CEO of Centech, “I am very excited for him to join us.”
